Kerala Para - Wood and Brass

The Para is a traditional rice holder deeply rooted in Kerala's culture, especially during the Onam festival. During Onam, the Para is filled with rice and other grains and placed in homes and temples as an offering to the gods, particularly to King Mahabali, whose spirit is believed to visit Kerala during this time.
