Our Mandana Wall Art is a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary craftsmanship. Made from durable plyboard, this Mandana art is not only a visual delight but also built to last. Its intricate design features a central 4-petal flower motif, surrounded by geometric line shapes and borders, all brought to life with an all-natural color palette of blue, red, and white.
Mandana art is one of the oldest form of tribal art of India dominantly done by the Meena community in Rajasthan.
The creation of this remarkable artwork involves a traditional paper maché technique, a labour-intensive process. Newspapers are soaked in water for 2-3 days, after which they are meticulously hand-mashed to create a fine powdered form. Methi is then added to the paper pulp, transforming it into a robust dough mixture that serves as the foundation.
Embrace the cultural heritage and aesthetic charm it brings.
