Handcrafted in the villages of Andhra Pradesh, this Ram puppet is part of the ancient art of Tolu Bommalata — the leather shadow puppetry tradition that once brought the Ramayana and Mahabharata alive on glowing screens of light.
Each puppet is cut from leather, hand-painted with water colours, and hand-punched with tiny holes so light dances through it. Just like in the old performances, the puppet comes alive when lit and moved, telling stories through shadow and motion.
Paired with handcrafted *conical leather lamps*, this hamper is more than décor — it’s a living tradition, a reminder of how art, light, and story have always been at the heart of Diwali. A perfect blend of heritage and festivity.
